Children's Hearing Programs
The Ear Research Foundation needs volunteers to assist with outreach to preschools and children's groups during the school year, at special events, and during the summer, as well as at our school hearing screenings. We also need volunteers to assist with our Children's Hearing Clinic and related events. Background checks will be required.
Event Staff
The Ear Research Foundation hosts numerous events throughout the year, and we are always seeking assistance and additional support. Events include fundraising events, such as our annual gala, educational courses for physicians, seminars, and community outreach initiatives.
We have a calendar full of events and need extra hands to plan, coordinate, and set up all our events. ERF offers lectures and support groups throughout the year, as well as larger annual events.
Internship
ERF is currently accepting high school (senior year) or college students for internship positions in Research or Fundraising & Development.
Additional Opportunities
Administrative work and tasks in our offices.
Outreach to local schools, organizations, and businesses.
Photography and videography (amateurs welcome!) for events and programs.
Writing - for grants, newsletters, and other content.

The Society of Ear Research Foundation Fellows (SERFs UP) meets twice a year; at the AAO and in another place for a weekend of educational interchange and fellowship. As of 2015, 41 fellows have graduated the one-year program.
